The BET Awards 2023, coined culture’s biggest night of the year, honoured the best performances in music, TV, film and sports, and was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. This year’s event celebrated 50 years of Hip Hop, with Busta Rhymes receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, Patti LaBelle paying tribute to Tina Turner and a couple category ties.
